Professional Poultry Transportation   Since 1947

Bill Bosma starting hauling Cream and Eggs in 1947 and picking up chickens from his route customers in the fall of that year. The egg business started to see change in the 1960's, in 1969 Bill built his 1st layer barn of 11,000 Hy-Line layers, with all the family members being involved. In 1977 the 1st semi-truck was bought and driven by son Daryl. After being involved in construction Loren came back to the family business in 1980. A modern Hi-Rise barn of 60,000 layers was built and had the challenge of 20% interest rates! In the late 1980's to 1997 Broilers were trucked in daily to the Worthington, MN Campbell Soup Plant

Our 1st Pullet trailer was bought in 1983 and Bosma Poultry has grown into the one of the premier pullet hauling contractors in the US, hauling approximately 40+ Million ready to lay pullets a year.

Loren Bosma retired on December 31, 2022 allowing Dave Buschur, Adam Bondhus and Kenny Van Aalsburg to purchase the company which is now called Bosma Poultry Group.
